First Day Outside

Not the Bike I planned on riding today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My co-pilot. I told her the ball was extra weight.

Finally.... First day on the bike outside. Unfortunately it was on Annie's Mt Bike with Jordan riding shotgun. We rode approximately 10 miles with a stop at "Grampy's" on the way. We saw some sheep (or Lambs as Jordan said). The best part of the ride was the last mile when Jordan fell asleep in her seat. I'm not really sure how that is possible but she did it.

Well I am back for another year of riding and raising money for the PMC. Yep, doing it again. I think that once you sign on, you are hooked for life. This year my team (Team Lick Cancer) is riding for a Charlotte O'Shea. Charlotte is a little girl from Harvard that is currently battling cancer. She turned six yesterday and had a big party! She is the reason we get on our bikes each week. She is the reason that we ride in the rain, that we knock on doors, and that we ask for your donations. We need to find a cure, quickly, so a six year old girl and her family can look forward to many more birthdays.

Tomorrow will be my first ride on my bike. I got a new Garmin GPS for my bike so hopefully I can download my ride to this blog.

Good night.
